Ajax design and fabricate a wide range of bespoke access platform systems and gantry systems to meet an even wider range of safe access requirements and specifications.

A customised system can be adapted from Ajax’s standard range of safe access systems or an entirely new bespoke access system can be developed and manufactured in house by the Ajax team.

Surveying, Designing, and Fabricating

Our experienced team will visit your site to survey the location and make our recommendations. It doesn’t matter if you are looking for an entirely new safe access system, or have a specific concern about your current access system that you would like to address – the team will work through the project with you to meet your exact needs.

With a wealth of knowledge and experience in safe access systems, the design team will draw and create a bespoke solution to your requirements, demonstrating how the access system will perform. They will ensure you are completely satisfied before any fabrication commences.

The fabrication team will then work closely with the design team to fabricate the system from the design drawings, and testing your new safe access system at our manufacturing site in Nottingham.

Safe Access Gantry Systems

Depending on the operation of the system, Ajax is able to incorporate pneumatics, hydraulics and electrics for a more efficient and easier operation. This is usually recommended if the system is large and heavy, and the safety of the operator is high risk.

Ajax can also incorporate fail-safe features into your bespoke access system including;

• For high-risk petrochemical environments, all bespoke systems can be supplied with comprehensive documentation to give evidence that all components and materials of each system fully complies with the latest ATEX Directives (94/9/EC).

Bespoke Access Systems

Along with the standard products and bespoke access systems, Ajax also has the ability to fabricate bespoke industrial access stairs and bespoke access platforms for your site.

Ajax provides a full-service approach, whether you require a simple stairway or a bespoke access system. This eliminates the need to deal with multiple suppliers, and is a popular choice among our customers.

The project below is an example of a safe access system Ajax can offer, which consists of a fully galvanised steel platform, an access staircase and a Fixed Folding Step Unit complete with a full safety cage. At Ajax, we also offer a range of Mobile and Extendible Step Units which are ideal for tanker access.
